The OvalAir concept can often produce a dramatic increase in comfort with very little investment. In some cases, old equipment has failed but we’ve been able to make spaces comfortable without replacing the equipment. In general the space becomes much more “livable” in feel, without a big investment in ducting, air handling units, expensive HVAC controls, etc.
At the moment it’s more of an experimental concept, but we think OvalAir may have the potential to be a disruptive innovation in HVAC and new building design.

Non-profits managing large facilities are often in crisis about their HVAC systems, because their budgets are small in relationship to the expenses of maintaining and upgrading the equipment.
Often the crisis represents itself as a fiscal emergency: we need to raise a lot of money to replace a boiler or we’ll shut down; our tenant is moving out because it’s too cold and we won’t be able to pay our rent, etc.
Anything that solves the problem is good, but we recommend if possible persuading the organization to NOT spend the big bucks (which once spent, will never return) but instead find short-term...
